My fortune cookie the other day had a message that I think is a great motto for 2012 and beyond:
“A ship in the harbor is safe but that is not what ships are built for.”
Go beyond your comfort zone and try something new this year. It may change both your life and the lives of others.
For some of you, this will be the year you start medical school. For others, this will be the year you apply to medical school. No matter where this year falls along your journey towards becoming a physician, I hope that it is your best year yet!
